The ‘Genießerpfad – Hochschwarzwälder Hirtenpfad’ is an 8.5km circular route, with 300m of elevation gain. The route starts at a free parking area called ‘Raitenbucher Höhe’. All crossings are very well signed, the path is easy to follow and it doesn’t have any technical difficulties. It has many view points along the route, some benches to sit down and take breaks, and it crosses a couple of small roads. There are also a few farms along the route. In winter there are high chances that it is snowed.
