On-the-move interview with Pi Cargolat

Circular 10.9km route, with 400m of elevation gain. It is an easy route, both technically and physically, which is also quite well marked (if you know the directions, as there are many marked routes in this area). The route starts at a free parking spot for cars at Can Bosc, being the first part the hardest one, with a quite long uphill part. The trail is narrow and full of vegetation during the whole route, and the landscape views impress with dense forests. There are two highlights in this route. The first one comes after the first 2.5km and is the Dolmen Ca l’Arenes, which is a megalithic tomb of approx. 5000 years ago. The second one is the Pi Cargolat, a stone pine that has a peculiar trunk shape. These were followed by the Sanctuary of El Corredor, which has its origin in a chapel built here in the 16thcentury. After 6.5km we encounter the Mirador del Corredor, a viewpoint from which we can see the sea.
